To enter the competition, participants should submit the following anonymized documents :
πShort paper (4 pages) summarizing the main contributions of the thesisΒ
πBachelor's / Master's / PhD thesis
While reviewers will primarily evaluate the short paper, they may consult the thesis for cross-referencing and additional details.
More details regarding the evaluation criteria can be found here [Official Evaluation Criteria (PDF)].
β οΈ Important Notes:
Submitted documents and reviews will not be made public without the explicit consent of the authors.
Registration is through Β OpenReview. If you register with a non-institutional email, account activation may take up to 2 weeks. Ensure your account is ready before the competition deadline!
<details coming soon>
The review process is double-blind, ensuring anonymity between reviewers and authors.Β
β οΈ Anonymization Enforcement:
If a thesis is not properly anonymized, authors will be notified and given a 24 hours window to make the necessary corrections. Failure to comply will result in desk rejection and automatic disqualification.
π΅οΈ Anonymization Requirements:
π Short Paper β Must be fully anonymized:
β No author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or self-referencing that reveals identity
β When citing their own work, authors should use the third person (e.g., "as shown in [1]" instead of "as we showed in [1]")
β If a published paper is the subject of the thesis, the author should include relevant details in the short paper and avoid referencing the published work.Β
β If sharing code or supplementary materials (dataset, examples, model output, etc.), use an anonymous link (gdrive, storage, etc.).
π Thesis β Fully anonymizing a thesis is challenging, so minor deviations will not be penalized. However, authors must:
β
Remove names and affiliations from the cover page, headers, and footers
β
Remove acknowledgments that explicitly identify them, their advisors, or their institution
β
Keep the "Publications" section, but remove author names - only venue, year, and title should remain.
β Remove institution logos from the document
However:
β No need to anonymize citations of their own work in the thesis body
β No need to modify references to advisors or collaborators in the thesis body
β No need to anonymize general content beyond these requirements
The short paper must:
β
Be 4 pages long (excluding Limitations, AI Transparency Statement andΒ Bibliography)
β
Follow the structure of a scientific paper (see π Short Paper Structure Guidelines)
β
Be written in English and adhere to the format in π Short Paper Style Guidelines
β
Be submitted as a PDF file (max 50MB)
